1. Who we are

Pet ID is operated by Nebula Group, a company domiciled in Bogotá D.C., Colombia, hereinafter «Pet ID» or «we».

2. Purpose

Pet ID provides a pet identification tag linked to a digital profile. Whoever finds the pet can read that profile and, if the pet is reported lost, contact its owner.

Creating an account or buying a plan means you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

3. Your account

To use the service you must create an account with accurate details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for activity on your account and for access to the email address you sign in with.

You must be of legal age to register.

4. Plans and payments

Each plan entitles you to register one pet and receive the corresponding tag. Prices and conditions are those published on the platform at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed by an external gateway. We do not store your card details.

Once the payment is approved, the plan credit becomes available in your account to register the pet.

5. Right of withdrawal

Under article 47 of Colombian Law 1480 of 2011, on distance sales you may withdraw within five (5) business days of delivery, provided the item can be returned in the condition you received it.

Tags personalised with your pet's name are goods made to your specification, so withdrawal does not apply once production has started, under that same article.

To withdraw, write to contacto@petid.com.co within that period.

6. Production and shipping

The tag is produced with the design and details you confirm on the platform. Check them before confirming: once production starts they cannot be changed.

Shipping goes to the address you register. Delivery times depend on the courier and are estimates, not guarantees.

7. Public profile and lost pet reports

The profile linked to the tag is publicly readable without signing in. While the pet is not reported lost, that profile shows only details of the animal.

Reporting your pet lost authorises the profile to additionally show your name, your phone number and the pet's health notes for that period. You can withdraw them at any time by marking the pet found.

You are responsible for the information you publish on your pet's profile and for keeping it accurate and current.

8. Scope of the service

Pet ID is an identification and contact tool. It is not a tracking or geolocation device, and it does not guarantee the recovery of a lost pet.

The service depends on a third party finding the animal and reading the tag. We are not responsible for the conduct of third parties or for the information they provide.

9. Acceptable use

The following is not permitted:

• Registering false information, or third-party information without their authorisation, or anything infringing the rights of others.
• Using the platform for purposes other than identifying your pet.
• Attempting to access accounts, profiles or documents that are not yours.
• Automated extraction of public profiles or platform data.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or is used fraudulently. You may close your account at any time by writing to contacto@petid.com.co.

11. Intellectual property

The brand, the platform design, the software and its contents belong to Nebula Group or its licensors. Photographs and information you upload remain yours; by uploading them you authorise us to use them solely to provide the service.

12. Liability

We are liable for the correct operation of the service as described here and under the statutory warranty of Law 1480 of 2011. We are not liable for loss arising from a pet going missing, from misuse of the tag by third parties, or from interruptions caused by external providers or force majeure.

13. Personal data

The processing of your data is governed by our Personal Data Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

14. Amendments

We may amend these terms. Substantial changes will be notified by email or through a notice on the platform before they take effect.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
